Little did director Karan Johar foresee that his much-anticipated birthday bash on Monday night would bring warring factors together to kiss and make-up? It indeed, we hear, turned out to be a night of patch-ups where King Khan & Bachchan Bahu seemed determined to bury their hatchets and make a fresh start. SRK, of the strong belief that he had erred somewhere apparently apologized to Ash who gracefully accepted the olive branch.

Walking down the memory lane, the cold war between them had hit the roof when Shah Rukh dropped Ash callously from his film CHALTE CHALTE, things worsened when SRK and Gauri were not called for the Abhi-Ash wedding. But with reports of Shah Rukh-Salman tiff when SRK had made debasing comments about Ash made the headlines last year, the final straw was drawn. But KJo's bash wiped out all those battle lines drawn.
Reports doing the rounds suggest that couples Abhi-Ash & SRK-Gauri stuck together grooving, chatting and laughing away to glory till the wee hours. As the party wound up, they all piled into one car and headed for Mannat. The group partied at SRK's home till 6 am and left after having breakfast. Yeah, happy days are here again!
